Pundit Ally McCoist has now claimed that he was stunned by what one Chelsea player did in their heavy defeat to Arsenal tonight.

He said during commentary for TNT Sports that he thinks one Blue did something that you simply cannot do at the top level.

Chelsea and Mauricio Pochettino were absolutely battered tonight in the London derby, with the Blues left embarrassed across the capital.

It took just three minutes for the Gunners to open their account through Leandro Trossard, a player Chelsea were linked with signing before he ended up at the Emirates.

His shot was too hot to handle for goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic, who saw the ball go straight through his legs to open the scoring.

While originally there was plenty of praise over the way they found the net and weaved through the Chelsea defence, McCoist’s attention quickly turned to the goalkeeper and how he had been beaten from that angle.

He said: “Can’t get beat at your near post. Defensively, The goalkeeper has to do better. I take your point. Spot on.

“He fired it at his feet, there’s no way he should get beat there. He’s got to cover that post”

Petrovic has had fingers pointed his way during recent moments after a number of goals have been let in that perhaps shouldn’t have.

This followed what was a really strong start to his life at Stamford Bridge, with him easing the original number one Robert Sanchez out of the side permanently.

However, it feels as if it will not be long until Pochettino looks back at the Spaniard, if he is still in a job long enough to do so.
