Chelsea are reportedly pushing to sign Leicester City’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in this summer transfer window. Now, it’s been claimed that the Blues are in talks about offering some of their players as part of the deal.

New Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca guided Leicester to promotion as Championship title winners last season. Dewsbury-Hall, 25, was certainly one of his most influential players. It’s now been reported that are reunion could be on the cards at Stamford Bridge.

The Athletic has claimed on Friday that Chelsea have submitted an offer to sign Leicester star Dewsbury-Hall.

He’s an all-action central midfielder with real quality on and off the ball. The Englishman finished last season with 12 goals and 14 assists in the Championship.

Chelsea are discussing David Datro Fofana and Cesare Casadei with Leicester

Journalist Fabrizio Romano has added via X on Friday that Chelsea have approached newly-promoted Premier League club Leicester about signing Dewsbury-Hall.

It is understood that the Blues are planning to include some of their players in the proposal.

Apparently, Chelsea duo David Datro Fofana and Cesare Casadei are being discussed.

Good business for both

Of course, Leicester shouldn’t want to lose one of their best players. But signing both Fofana and Casadei would be smart business if it happens to help the squad depth.

Fofana, 21, is a young striker whose path into Chelsea’s squad looks tough. He did well during a short-term loan at Burnley last season in the Premier League, though.

Journalist Matt Law reported via the London is Blue Podcast earlier this month that Fofana is set to leave Chelsea this summer permanently or on loan.

As for 21 year old midfielder Casadei, it’s hard to picture him getting many minutes in a Chelsea shirt. If he becomes a serious option for Leicester, there’s the benefit that he spent the first half of last season on loan with them.
