Liverpool fans are worried that Fabio Carvalho’s might not be coming back after his latest comments.
The 20-year-old signed for RB Leipzig this summer after a tough debut campaign year at Liverpool last year.
After signing for around £5million from Fulham, Carvalho made just four starts in the Premier League.
In total, he made 22 appearances in all competitions, but wants more first-team football, hence his move to the Bundesliga.
But Liverpool fans believe that Carvalho might not be on his way back after comments made about Jurgen Klopp.
When asked if he had received any advice from the German coach, the youngster admitted he had not spoken to him.
He said: “I don’t really speak to him, so he didn’t give me any advice.
“I have to just learn as I go and I don’t think that’s a bad thing. I feel like that’s better anyway, for me to mature as a person and as a player.”
And it has led to fans speculating on his future at Anfield, are lack of one.
One fan said: “Yea, have a feeling he ain’t coming back.”
Another said: “And people still think Carvalho will play for us. He’s gone next season.”
And this fan wrote: “Yeah he’s done at LFC. I feel bad for him hopefully he kicks on and has a good career.”
While a fourth put: “That kind of attitude can you in trouble with many other managers not just Klopp.”
That might be quite an extreme reaction considering Carvalho has only spent one season at Liverpool.
And at his young age, Klopp can still get the best of the attacking midfielder, who scored two Premier League goals last year.
Carvalho also gave another reason why he believes he might not be best utilised at Liverpool after admitting his position is not available.
He said: “I feel like the reason it hasn’t worked at Liverpool is because of the position I have been playing.
“I was told I’d come in and play as a 10 but [Liverpool] don’t really play with a 10 whereas here we play with two 10s.”
