Borussia Dortmund cult hero Patrick Owomoyela has posted a clip of a mountain bike crash that saw him airlifted to hospital with a broken collarbone.
The former Germany international was due to take part in a legends match between Dortmund and Bayern Munich, but instead spent the weekend in hospital.

Owomoyela uploaded a video of the incident to his 76,000 Instagram followers, who are no strangers in watching posts of his love of extreme sports.
But this expedition went wrong, and he was left asking his fans for TV recommendations.
“Ouch!!! When you think you know the sleep track,” he wrote.
“Heli flight then a single room with a view and breakfast in bed.

BILD report that the 43-year-old did make the legends game in Munich, but only as a spectator due to his injuries.
X-ray photos uploaded by Owomoyela showed an apparent collarbone break, with the area pinned, leaving a sizable entry wound.
Dortmund supporters were quick keen to send the former right-back a number of get well messages, where he remains a huge fan favourite.

Owomoyela joined the Bundesliga giants the same summer as Jurgen Klopp in 2008.
The pair went on to win two league titles and a DFB Pokal together, before Owomoyela departed five years later after 84 appearances.
