Mykhailo Mudryk has now shared what happened at Stamford Bridge recently that he described as one of his best moments since joining Chelsea.
He told the club website that the reaction of the crowd when he found the net on Monday night against Newcastle was unlike anything he had ever heard before.
Mudryk turned out to be the match winner on Monday night as he scored the third in a 3-2 victory over their fellow European chasers.
He glided past a number of defenders and then the goalkeeper to score his second goal of 2024, and made a point to Mauricio Pochettino in the process that he should be getting more minutes.
The Ukraine international came on in place of Raheem Sterling, who has been struggling to take his chances in recent weeks in the first team.
Mudryk amazed by Stamford Bridge reaction
After finding the net, Mudryk shared that the reaction of the Stamford Bridge crowd led to one of the best moments he has enjoyed since joining the club.
He said: “I felt this unbelievable roar [from the crowd]. It was one of my best moments since I’ve been here at Chelsea. It was like goosebumps, you know.”

It remains to be seen whether Mudryk is trusted with a start at the weekend against Leicester City in the FA Cup at the weekend.
Pochettino will be instructed with booking another trip to Wembley, knowing deep down that his job at Stamford Bridge could well come down to whether they qualify for European football.
Based on current form, it feels as if Mudryk has earned a start, especially as he has shown recently he can feature in a new position to a high level.
His best football in recent weeks has been in the number 10 role, with him putting in a player of the match performance there against Leeds in the last round.
