The Foxes were relegated to the Championship on the final day of the Premier League season last month, which will likely lead to a mass exodus of players this summer.

One of the more in-demand players at the King Power will be the 25-year-old Barnes, who has impressed in recent years on the left wing for the Foxes.

The once-capped England international joined the club’s academy at the age of nine, and has gone on to play 187 times for his boyhood club and picked up 45 goals and 32 assists.

The 25-year-old has two years remaining on his current deal but after Leicester’s relegation it’s likely he’ll be allowed to leave for a cut price and he’ll likely be after a return to the Premier League.

Aston Villa are deemed to be in the best position to sign the winger, and are expected to have a busy summer having secured a seventh place finish on the final day of the season, meaning they qualify for the Europa Conference League next season.

The West Midlands side have impressed since Unai Emery took over as manager in November, and are looking to bulk up their squad ahead of the current campaign.

It’s likely Barnes would slot straight into the starting XI should he secure the move, providing competition for the likes of Leon Bailey and Emiliano Buendia.

Harvey Barnes next club odds (talkSPORT BET):

  • Aston Villa – 11/8
  • West Ham – 2/1
  • Newcastle – 3/1
  • Tottenham – 14/1
  • Brentford – 20/1
  • Brighton – 20/1
  • Crystal Palace – 20/1
  • Fulham – 20/1
  • Wolves – 20/1

West Ham are another side in the running for the winger, with 2/1 odds.

The Hammers’ Europa Conference League final win over Fiorentina has given them Europa League football next season, which will make them much more attractive to players they intend on signing.

David Moyes will likely have some cash to splash this summer too with the expected departure of Declan Rice for close to a nine-figure fee, and will be determined to strengthen his squad as they attempt to break back in to the Premier League’s top half.

Newcastle are also thought to be interested in the Foxes winger, and can go one further than West Ham in being able to offer Barnes Champions League football next season.

The Magpies surprised everyone as they secured a top four finish in the Premier League which has secured Champions League football returning to St James’ Park for the first time since 2003.

Eddie Howe and has management team will likely have a busy summer as they look to add strength and depth to their squad in preparation for their heavily congested fixture list next season.

The Magpies have been given odds of 3/1 to sign the winger.

Other Premier League teams in the running for Barnes’ signature include Tottenham at 14/1 and Brentford, Brighton, Crystal Palace, Fulham and Wolves who are all priced at 20/1.
