Chelsea made a lot of signings in the last summer transfer window.

The likes of Cole Palmer, Moises Caicedo, Nicolas Jackson and Axel Disasi all joined the club.

It has not always been easy for all of Chelsea‘s recent additions or the team as a whole this season.

Caicedo, the most expensive signing in Chelsea’s history, has often been criticised for not living up to his price tag, while Jackson has missed a lot of chances.

The striker has admitted himself that he should have scored more goals this term.

Chelsea star feels he has adapted to the Premier League

Despite blowing hot and cold in the current campaign, Jackson feels settled in the English top flight and has credited his manager Mauricio Pochettino for helping him.

“It’s a bit different to Spain but I have adapted very well,” the 22-year-old was quoted as saying by Chelsea’s official website. “The manager and club are helping me.

“I’m very happy but it has been difficult because we’d like to be in the top four or top three but we’re in the middle of the table at the moment.”

The Blues signed Jackson from Villarreal in a £32m deal.

Nicolas Jackson not performing badly in the Premier League

Since arriving in the Premier League, Jackson’s all-round play has been pretty impressive.

The Senegal international can run with the ball and link-up with his teammates.

He combined so well with Cole Palmer for the first of his four goals against Everton last month.

Where Jackson obviously needs to improve is in front of goal. He has scored 10 times in the Premier League this season, which is not terrible for a young striker who has just arrived in England.

However, had the former Villarreal man’s finishing been better, he would be on way more than that. If Pochettino can help him with that, then Chelsea could end up with quite a complete centre-forward. Jackson is doing everything else right at the moment.
