Chelsea made sure they spent big again last summer in order to strengthen their side for the current campaign.
As well as the club-record fee paid for Moises Caicedo, they spent big money on the likes of Cole Palmer, Christopher Nkunku and Axel Disasi in order to strengthen across the board.
While the Englishman has clearly proven to be a super addition, some have not been so lucky in terms of being available to feature on a regular basis.
While Nkunku has been only able to start a couple of games, there is another addition from summer that has been played even less.
Romeo Lavia featured just once for the Blues in the second half of a Premier League game against Crystal Palace, where there were soon worries that he could be out for much longer.

Lavia with worst debut season ever
As far as debut seasons go after big-money moves, playing less than 45 minutes has to go down as one of the worst possible.
His presence will have likely been as part of a midfield three alongside Enzo Fernandez and Caicedo, who have at times looked as if a more defensive presence would be key to them operating at the highest level.
Lavia will still be in the thinking for the future, and this could be key in Conor Gallagher potentially leaving the club at the end of the season when he enters the last year of his contract.
