One of Chelsea’s Premier League rivals may be prepared to pay up to £35m for a member of Mauricio Pochettino’s squad.
Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Conor Gallagher and journalist Dean Jones has told GiveMeSport that he thinks that they would be willing to spend around £35m on the midfielder.
Gallagher has been a key player for Mauricio Pochettino, scoring in Chelsea‘s last win, a 3-1 victory against his former club Crystal Palace.
However, with his contract running down, the Blues may be forced to sell him in the summer.
Gallagher’s existing deal expires at the end of next season, though The Telegraph’s Matt Law thinks Chelsea could offer him a new one before this one concludes.

Tottenham could make £35m offer for Conor Gallagher in the summer
Jones reckons Tottenham would be prepared to go as high as £35m to sign Gallagher.
On the 24-year-old, he said: “His value is dropping. You could say his realistic value in the market is around £30million or £35million at the moment, and I think Tottenham would be willing to pay that.
“They weren’t willing to go up to £50million in January. That’s why nothing ever came about, and I think that will remain the case.

“It’s an interesting one, but Tottenham definitely do hold a level of interest. They are just being a bit tentative at the moment about when they actually make their move.”
£35m for Conor Gallagher would be a bargain
If Tottenham can get Gallagher for £35m, it would be an absolute steal in this market.
He is an England international with Premier League experience and quite a well-rounded midfielder.
Gareth Southgate described his mentality as “outstanding” last year, and this season, he has been terrific on the pitch for Chelsea.
The Three Lions star has scored a few goals of late, but it is his work ethic and tackling that have made him standout in the current campaign.
As displayed on the Premier League’s official website, Gallagher has made 60 tackles, leaving him just outside of the top 10 players for that category.
Chelsea would be silly to sell him, especially to their rivals Tottenham.
