Journalist Seb Ecrivain has now shared what he has just heard regarding Mauricio Pochettino’s immediate future at Chelsea.
He took to Twitter to state that questions are beginning to rise internally at Stamford Bridge following another tough result yesterday.
Chelsea were decimated 4-2 at home by Wolves in the Premier League, with them racking up eight goals conceded in a week.
This has seen some who attended the game begin to lose patience, with some of the criticism headed directly for the manager.
Reports have already begun to spread that some at the club are potentially weighing up candidates for if they need to replace the Argentine in the coming weeks or months.
Now, Ecrivain has claimed defeat next time out for the Blues could be the beginning of the end for Pochettino as manager.
What will happen to Pochettino if Chelsea lose next game
He said: “Internally, many questions arise about maintaining Pochettino on the bank of Chelsea.. I am told that support is becoming increasingly rare at the club. The next match could be the last for the Argentine coach in the event of defeat.”

Chelsea’s next Premier League outing is away to Crystal Palace, with them having not long ago faced them in the Premier League.
A late Noni Madueke goal then was enough for the Blues to secure all three points, although it certainly was not a straight forward evening.
One bonus for Pochettino will be that star player Michael Olise is likely to not be involved in the game due to a recent injury problem.
It feels though as if the manager will at least be given the opportunity to win his first trophy in English football with the EFL Cup final at Wembley, where they will play Liverpool at the end of the month.
A loss there, and it could be all over for Pochettino.
