CBS Sports host Kate Abdo was left in stitches after Jamie Carragher’s peculiar question to Erling Haaland.

The Norwegian helped Manchester City clinch their first Champions League trophy in Saturday’s 1-0 win over Inter.

The victory meant City secured a historic Treble emulating Manchester United’s feat of 1999.

Following the win, Haaland was called pitchside alongside the CBS Sports panel consisting of Abdo, Carragher, Thierry Henry, Micah Richards and Peter Schmeichel.

During the interview, the Manchester City striker revealed how he felt in the lead up to the biggest game of his career.

“I was really nervous, I have to say. I felt it in my stomach today,” Haaland explained.

Carragher then countered asking Haaland: “Anywhere else?”

A stunned Haaland was unsure of how to answer the question as the rest of the panel dropped their heads in amazement and burst out laughing at the former Liverpool defender’s journalistic skills.

“What does that mean?,” Abdo asked Carragher who himself was in a fit of laughter.

A confused Haaland asked: “Why are they always asking these awkward questions?”

Thierry Henry then intervened to reassure the 22-year-old that his interview was no different to any other saying: “Always, same thing every time.”

Haaland was unable to get on the scoresheet in Istanbul despite a chance in the first half which saw Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana make a fine stop.

The Norwegian now appears to have been the missing piece in helping Manchester City get over the line in the Champions League.
