Laura Woods has confirmed her next role just a week after her teary exit from talkSPORT.
Following a spell of over three years at the helm of talkSPORT Breakfast, she bid farewell to the award-winning show.

Woody broadcast her final edition last Wednesday in a goodbye edition that saw her pay an emotional tribute to listeners.
She said that ‘it’s not goodbye forever’ and she will return ‘very soon’, with the presenter always set to be part of the talkSPORT family.
A week on, Woods was able to formally reveal her next gig as she will be part of ITV’s coverage of the 2023 Women’s World Cup.
She retweeted a tweet from the broadcaster about their ‘stellar squad’ for the tournament, with Woodsy standing front and centre.
Two of England’s group stage games, as well as the final, will be fronted by Woods, with Seema Jaswal and Michelle Owen also on presenting duties.
A host of expert analysis and punditry will come from Eni Aluko, Karen Carney, Jill Scott, Emma Hayes, Fran Kirby, Lucy Ward, Siobhan Chamberlain, Emma Byrne, Vicky Losada and Jen Beattie.
Seb Hutchinson, Sam Matterface, Pien Meulensteen and Tom Gayle will be on commentary duties, with Katie Shanahan set to be a tournament reporter.
Woods is no stranger to such duties on the big stage as she featured on ITV’s coverage of the men’s World Cup in Qatar in December, as well as on talkSPORT.
She is soon set to pick up the microphone once again as the Lionesses prepare to compete for glory in Australia and New Zealand.
Sarina Wiegman’s side head into the tournament as one of the favourites having finished fourth in 2019.
England’s stars capped off their preparations for the competition with a 0-0 draw against Portugal on home soil.
They will kick-off this year’s tournament against Haiti, before facing Denmark and China in their remaining Group D games.
