According to the Daily Mail, former talkSPORT host Woods will spearhead a new look on the channel.

Jules Breach and Lynsey Hipgrave, who both worked at BT Sport, will also be involved in an all-female trio.

It is further reported that the channel wants to banish the ‘laddish’ elements of the show as Warner Bros chiefs are keen on drastically altering the tone and identity of the sports coverage.

Woods is set to replace Jake Humphrey at the front of house in the studio while Breach will take on Des Kelly’s role, who conducts pitch interviews.

And it will be Woodsy’s first major permanent role since leaving talkSPORT in an emotional farewell.

The 36-year-old built up a fantastic rapport with co-workers, presenters and listeners alike on her Breakfast show, alongside Ally McCoist.

So much so, that one elderly listener penned Woods a letter that had her wiping away tears live on air.

An excerpt of his poem read: “Your bubbly personality shines through every daily morning that you broadcast.

“You’re never afraid to offer an opinion but always respectful of other opinions and professional.”

Woods is renowned as one of the best presenters in the game and has been involved with multiple sports.

As well as football, she has worked on the darts and NFL across multiple platforms including talkSPORT, ITV, Sky Sports and Amazon Prime.

Breach, meanwhile, had worked as the lead presenter on BT Sport’s Score, which provided coverage of all the football around the grounds every weekend.

She has also fronted BT Sport’s coverage of the Women’s Ashes in 2022 and she also presented the Premier League’s Fantasy Football show.

Hipgrave joined BT Sport in 2013 and was recently promoted to lead presenter on the channel for Premier League games, allowing Humphrey to concentrate on Champions League matches.

The presenter also has worked for talkSPORT, where she was praised for cutting off a disrespectful caller after he kept naming her ‘love’ and ‘darling’.
