Malo Gusto is now the latest Chelsea player to speak out following the weekend’s devastating loss in the League Cup final.
Chelsea suffered a last-minute 1-0 defeat against Liverpool during extra-time of Sunday’s domestic final.
There’s been plenty of critics in the media, rightly so in some cases, pile into Mauricio Pochettino’s side for the way they lost the cup final at Wembley Stadium.
The general feeling is the Blues were far too passive and just missed a glorious chance to win silverware, especially when you look at the Liverpool XI that finished the game.

Chelsea right-back Malo Gusto, 20, was one of the rare brighter players that started at Wembley at the weekend.
The Blues youngster uploaded a message on social media last night 24 hours after the disappointment of losing.
Gusto wrote on X: “Never fully prepared for these moments. You give your all, endure pain, and learn invaluable lessons. Thank you for the support, we’re united in victory or defeat, my pride as a Blue remains steadfast.”

Elsewhere, speaking via Instagram after the cup final loss, Thiago Silva insisted the Chelsea group will keep pulling together.
