Manchester City have submitted an official bid for West Ham captain Declan Rice.
talkSPORT understands the bid is worth £90million and is set to be rejected.

West Ham are holding out for £100m for the midfielder, and a third offer from Arsenal is expected to be closer to that mark.
Rice is in high demand this summer after Hammers owner David Sullivan told talkSPORT his Europa Conference League final-winning performance would be his last game for the club.
Arsenal have since been strongly-linked with the midfielder and are understood to have made two bids for his services already.
West Ham were hopeful that Mikel Arteta’s side would reach the £100m mark with their next bid, and will be pleased to see City drive up the price tag.

Arsenal have offered £75m plus £15m in add-ons, equalling City’s offer, but with less money up front.
City turned their attention to Rice after losing captain Ilkay Gundogan to Barcelona as a free agent.
talkSPORT understands that Arsenal remains Rice’s preferred destination, though, with the 24-year-old having a young family and looking to remain in London.
