Mauricio Pochettino has now shared what he told his Chelsea players today after a terrible week of action.
He claimed in his pre-match press conference that he is looking to galvanise a response from his squad as they face a tough moment this season.
Eight goals conceded in the last two games was the tipping point for some fans when it came to Pochettino’s role as Chelsea manager.
However, it has also been claimed that some on the board are seemingly disagreeing about what is the best course of action regarding his job going forwards.
Whether the manager has been at fault or not, the players will certainly need to up their performance from the last two they put in to book their place in the next round of the FA Cup.
Pochettino has now shared what he has just said to his players before they take on Aston Villa tomorrow.
He said: “Of course, it’s always a tough job. But at the same time it is an exciting project and a project that we know is difficult. In this type of moment, we are living in a situation that is not nice, we can learn. It is a good opportunity to learn.
