Mauricio Pochettino has frequently stated in recent weeks that he is struggling to give some of his first team players enough rest.
He said after their last Premier League game against Brentford that he was having to start a number of players who were absolutely shattered, and this could well be the reason why they are struggling to string wins together.
In a time of the season where Liverpool have been using players from every branch of their academy to great success, there has been little sympathy for Pochettino and his injury woes.
There seems to have been a resistance so far for the manager to dip into the extremely talented set of players who are currently doing most of their work for the youth sides at Cobham.
A number of players have occasionally been seen on the bench, however the likes of Leo Castledine and Deivid Washington have found minutes hard to come by.
Another player who has not even been considered up to now is Tyrique George, who is doing a lot of good work in the U18 Premier League in particular.
He has six goals and five assists in just nine games in that competition this season, while also finding the net in the Premier League 2 and FA Youth Cup.

Pochettino should give George a chance
He was seen in training recently with the first team squad, which could be a sign that Pochettino could be considering giving him an opportunity.

With games continuing to come thick and fast off the back of a deep FA Cup run, George should be one of the first youngsters considered for more minutes.
