Chelsea have already completed their first transfer of what is set to be a busy summer in West London.
The Blues secured the services of Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer, after a number of top sides were interested in bringing him in this summer.
However, it seems the defender’s excitement about featuring under new manager Enzo Maresca was a key factor in his decision.
As they look to move on to other targets, it has been reported that they are interested in upgrading numerous positions this summer ahead of next season.
Journalist Ben Jacobs told GiveMeSport the three roles in particular he is hearing they are most keen to strengthen during this window.
Chelsea want a winger, striker and left-back
He said: “My understanding is that Chelsea still want a traditional striker. They want a right-sided winger, in likelihood, or a creative-minded player, and they want a young left-back.”
One of their top targets at this stage is Michael Olise, 12 months after they nearly agreed a way to sign him before.
They will face top competition for his signature from fellow elite clubs, however there is a reported confidence inside the club that they can secure a move for him this summer.
Chelsea keen on Jhon Duran
As far as a striker goes, all the attention at the moment seems to surround a potential move for Aston Villa star Jhon Duran.
After interest in him back in January, it seems he has emerged back at the top of the list as far as Chelsea are concerned for a move, especially after missing out on a deal for Benjamin Sesko.
It has been claimed that talks are ongoing between the two clubs, with the Blues looking to secure their new addition up front as soon as possible.
Another name who has been mentioned recently is Julian Alvarez, however prizing him away from Manchester City looks a far more difficult task.
