N’golo Kante has comfortably gone down as a legend at Chelsea due to his spell at the club.
The Blues won nearly everything that was available to them in the time the Frenchman was at the club, with many looking at his performance in the Champions League final against Manchester City in 2021 as a real high.
Kante established himself as one of the best players in Premier League history during his time here, however it is certainly fair to say that injuries began to play their part in the latter stages of his career here.
He only featured a handful of times last season, as the Blues dwindled in mid-table mediocrity throughout the campaign under a plethora of managers.
While the midfielder did near enough anything anyone could imagine during his tenure, one thing that he never did was be sent off.
For a midfielder who puts in as many tackles as he did, it was perhaps a testament as to how impressive a player he was that he never got one wrong to the point where he was forced to leave the field.
This record came to an end though, after he was dismissed in the second half of Al-Ittihad’s AFC Champions League quarter-final first leg.
