It has now been claimed that Chelsea have a star in their youth academy who is actually as promising as one of their top prospects.
Twitter user ‘The Secret Scout’ has now stated that he firmly believes one of their 15-year-old youngsters has a ceiling as high as Kendry Paez already.
Paez will be able to join up with the Chelsea squad in just over a years’ time, however he looks as if he is ready to be a top player even now.
Paez starring for Ecuador
The 16-year-old is already a starter for his country, with Ecuador picking him as frequently as they do Moises Caicedo right now.
Their big spending led them to Paez as well as a number of other top youngsters, however some have hoped they won’t forget about the supreme talent they already have at Cobham.
One player who certainly fits into that description is Rio Ngumoha, who despite being just 15 has four appearances under his belt for the U18 side this season.

He was being awarded again for his brilliance during a tour of the UAE over the weekend, with The Secret Scout stating that he was an “exceptional prospect”.

When asked in the replies if this was on the same level as Paez, he replied: “No doubt in my mind.”
Considering Paez is the benchmark for talent at that age level right now, it is great praise for a player to be compared to him already.
There is a lot of promise about a number of youngsters who have been signed by the club, however some will be hoping that additions are made this summer that actually strengthen the side on the pitch.
It has been claimed that the Blues are interested in adding a striker to their ranks, as well as a centre-back as they prepare for a future without Thiago Silva in their ranks.
