Former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is coming under increasing pressure at Bayern Munich.
It has not been a great season by Bayern’s standards, with the German club recently losing 3-0 to Bayer Leverkusen. It has now left them five points behind Xabi Alonso’s side in the Bundesliga.
If Bayern decide to part ways with Tuchel at the end of the campaign, there is another former Chelsea manager waiting in the wings to take over, Jose Mourinho. According to Bild, the 61-year-old is dreaming about the job in the Allianz Arena dugout.
There has been talk about Mourinho returning to Chelsea for a third spell following his dismissal from AS Roma.
Journalist Felix Johnston recently claimed that the Blues are expected to talk to the Special One if they get rid of Mauricio Pochettino. Like Tuchel, Pochettino is not having a great time at his club, though Bayern are obviously doing much better than Chelsea, who currently sit 11th in the Premier League table.
Would Jose Mourinho choose Bayern Munich over Chelsea?
It is hard to say, as both jobs would be quite appealing. Chelsea are on the decline and are unlikely to be in the Champions League next season, but Mourinho has a strong connection to the club after his two stints there.
You cannot rule out Bayern, with the Allianz Arena seemingly being a dream destination for Mourinho.

However, the Portuguese coach loves Chelsea and English football. If he got the opportunity to manage the Blues again, we think he would take it.
Would that be in Chelsea’s best interest? Maybe not, as Mourinho is not the elite manager he once was. After all, he has been sacked from his last three jobs in England.
What he has accomplished in the game, though, means he cannot be outright ignored by the big clubs, even if those honours were won quite a while ago.
