Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino now looks in real danger of losing his job after his side’s defeat to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final.
There has been a lot of fallout since then, with Chelsea losing against a Liverpool side full of kids and missing several key players.
According to the Daily Mail, the Blues have already started looking at potential candidates to replace Mauricio Pochettino.
That is likely to include Sporting Lisbon manager Ruben Amorim, with the same outlet claiming that Chelsea have a long-standing interest in the 39-year-old.
Sporting are doing well under Amorim. The Portuguese club are currently second in their table and have a game in hand over Benfica.

At this point, it is not a surprise that Chelsea are already thinking about a future without Pochettino.
The Blues have just lost a cup final in disappointing fashion and are 11th in the Premier League.

This season, Pochettino has had to deal with so many injury problems. However, his squad is still good enough to be above 11th place. Simply put, the Argentine is not getting enough out of it, nowhere near enough.
He cannot have too many complaints if Chelsea do decide to part ways with him.
However, it looks like Pochettino will be given a bit more time. According to journalist Ben Jacobs, if the former Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur boss can pick up some positive results from Chelsea’s next four fixtures, that is likely to get him to at least the end of the season.
The first of those four games is an FA Cup tie against Leeds United at Stamford Bridge, which takes place tomorrow.
The Blues then take on Brentford, Newcastle United and Arsenal in the Premier League, though the match versus the Gunners will have to be rearranged if they make it to the FA Cup quarter-finals.
