Sarina Wiegman’s side are one of the favourites to win this competition and are expected to compete with the USA to lift the trophy.

England have been drawn in Group D alongside Haiti, Denmark and China with progression through to the knockout stages looking likely.

The opening game for the Lionesses takes place on Saturday, July 22 and fans will get an insight into how Wiegman will line up her side.

Lucy Bronze and Millie Bright have been included in the World Cup squad despite injuries, however, stars Beth Mead and Leah Williamson will miss the tournament.

Their absences will affect England but they will still believe that they should be able to go far in Australia and New Zealand.

To do so, they will have to overcome some tough sides to reach the final which will be played on Sunday, August 20.
