Chelsea have narrowed down their shortlist of potential managers to replace Mauricio Pochettino.
Mauricio Pochettino left Chelsea by mutual consent last week and the club were said to have a four-man shortlist of candidates who could succeed the Argentine.
According to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol, that list included Ipswich Town’s Kieran McKenna, Leicester City’s Enzo Maresca, Brentford’s Thomas Frank and former Brighton & Hove Albion boss Roberto De Zerbi.
However, one manager now looks to be completely out of the running for the Chelsea job.
With the Blues’ shortlist getting smaller, though, it looks like they could have a new man in charge soon.

The manager who Chelsea are definitely not going to hire
Currently managing Ipswich and Leicester respectively, teams who have just won promotion to the Premier League, McKenna and Maresca would probably love the Chelsea job.
One of them, though, is not going to get it this summer it seems.
According to The Athletic, Chelsea are no longer considering McKenna for the vacancy.
The outlet claims that while the club have held talks with the 38-year-old and admire him, he is not an option for them anymore.
That leaves just Maresca, Frank and De Zerbi in contention for the job, though The Athletic’s report has not mentioned the last of that trio as a contender to succeed Pochettino at Stamford Bridge.
Have Chelsea made the right decision with Kieran McKenna?
McKenna has obviously done a great job at Ipswich, winning back-to-back promotions with the club.
Former Chelsea striker Chris Sutton claims that the Northern Irishman has been “phenomenal” this season.
However, it is way too soon for him to make the jump to Chelsea. McKenna has not even managed in the Premier League or another top European division yet.
When you consider that, Chelsea not considering the Ipswich boss any further is the correct decision, while you have to question if he had done enough to be on their shortlist in the first place.
