Reports have claimed that Chelsea are now set to have scouts attend one huge European fixture later today.

According to Record Portugal, the Blues are going to have someone in attendance to witness the first leg of the Portuguese Cup semi-final between Sporting Lisbon and Benfica.

Chelsea are likely already way into their preparations ahead of the upcoming transfer window, as they look to address the glaring issues into their squad.

Reports have come out from all over Europe that they have sent scouts to watch multiple fixtures already this season, clearly with set targets in mind.

While the report from Portugal can not confirm any names specifically the Blues will be in town to see, it does not take an expert to work out the list of who it may be.

They have been strongly linked with the addition of Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres, after it became clear that they still needed that top number nine to add to their squad.

The Sweden international currently sits as the player in Europe with the most goal contributions this season, and this has left a number of sides across the continent interested in bringing him in.

He will not be the only player on show that has been previously been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge though.

Chelsea have been reportedly considering adding to their defensive ranks, and Ousmane Diomande is one of the most promising centre-backs in world football.

Pochettino is now facing a serious uphill battle to turn things around with both the fanbase and some figures at the club reportedly running out of patience.

It has already been claimed there are some at the club considering a new man in charge, which coincides with the fixture the scouts are in attendance for.

Ruben Amorim is in charge of Sporting, and those watching will have one eye on how the whole team plays tonight.
