Chelsea still look as if they are going to be parting ways with one of their more important players from last season.
Conor Gallagher captained the side for the majority of the campaign in the absence of Reece James and Ben Chilwell.
He proved very popular with Mauricio Pochettino, who seemed very adamant against his sale that many believed would be coming.
Tottenham are reportedly confident about signing Gallagher for a reduced fee, with a number of clubs keeping an eye on the situation revolving around his contract.
In their reported attempts to replace the England international, it has been claimed that they have their eye on Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira.

Chelsea enquire about Andreas Pereira
According to Ge Globo, the midfielder has been approved as a target by new manager Enzo Maresca, and an enquiry has been made.
The Brazilian has enjoyed a very strong couple of seasons for Chelsea’s West London rivals, after making the move there following a number of years at Manchester United.
The midfield positions are already going to have plenty of competition for them next season whether Gallagher remains at the club or not.
Competition for places at Chelsea
Alongside the two £100m men, Romeo Lavia will be hoping for a far nicer season as far as injuries go. He made just one appearance for the Blues in his first campaign at the club.
The club have also already signed Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester City, a player who worked closely with Maresca last season.
As far as youngsters go, Andrey Santos is no doubt very keen to prove that he should have a part to play with the first team after two loan spells away last season.
Santos has a great chance to impress on the pre-season tour, and a plethora of fixtures in just two and a half weeks is going to be a real test for anyone looking to nail down their place for the start of the season.
