Chelsea are reportedly still in discussions with an overseas club about selling their player to them.
The Blues have been very busy in the summer transfer window so far, both in terms of incomings and outgoings.
Ian Maatsen, Lewis Hall and Omari Hutchinson have all been sold to raise funds at Stamford Bridge.
Now, Chelsea’s Kepa Arrizabalaga has been linked with a potential permanent move away from West London. This comes after the 29-year-old goalkeeper spent last season out on loan at Real Madrid.
Allen Stand Upper claims via X that Kepa is currently training with Chelsea’s development squad rather than the first team while his future gets sorted.
Marca reports that Kepa would be happy returning to Real Madrid, where he’d be the back-up keeper to Thibaut Courtois.
However, someone else is in talks about signing the Spanish gloveman.

According to The Athletic, Saudi Arabia club Al Ittihad have launched their first bid to sign Chelsea’s Kepa.
It is understood that the Blues have turned down the opening offer, though.

Apparently, other suitors are also in transfer talks for a player expected to leave Chelsea in this window on a permanent basis.
Sport recently claimed that Chelsea are asking for around €25m (£21m) to sell Kepa this summer.
An expensive mistake by Chelsea
Unfortunately, Kepa has to go down as one of the club’s poorest signings ever.
The £150,000-a-week player (Spotrac) has been on the books since 2018.
He’s kept 59 clean sheets in 163 Chelsea appearances, too.
However, there’s no way that he’s lived up to the huge £71m (BBC) transfer fee.
