There’s going to be a lot of focus on Chelsea at the start of the next season to see how they line up.
The Blues have a new individual in the manager’s dugout.
Chelsea appointed Enzo Maresca, 44, as their new head coach this summer.
The Italian arrives at Stamford Bridge after a superb year at Leicester City, where he implemented a clear possession-based style of football that led them to promotion as Championship title winners.
Can he now make the step up under extra pressure at Chelsea?

The formation Enzo Maresca is going to use at Chelsea
The Athletic claims that Chelsea boss Maresca is expected to use a 4-3-3 formation Stamford Bridge.
It is understood that the 4-3-3 shape will include a single pivot in midfield, which then allows two advanced No 8s to operate up the pitch between the lines as an attacking threat.
Who could fill these roles?
If Chelsea boss Maresca is looking for someone to play as the single pivot in midfield, there’s plenty of options available to him. It’s a position that Harry Winks mastered last season for Leicester.
Romeo Lavia is definitely a natural fit in that role. Similarly, Enzo Fernandez has all the tools to dictate possession from the base of midfield with his range of passing and football IQ. A third option could be Moises Caicedo, too.
As for the No 8 positions, the Blues are stacked with options, including Fernandez and Caicedo.
Conor Gallagher is a natural fit, albeit he’s linked with a potential exit. There’s also Carney Chukwuemeka or new signing Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall that could shine as a box-to-box midfielder.
