Rodri curled in a match-winning 68th minute goal against Inter Milan to send the Sky Blue half of of the Ataturk into raptures.
And the Abu Dhabi royals were beaming after making a rare appearance at a Man City match.
Owner Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan was seen at his first City game since 2010.
He was joined by his brother, president Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is the ruler of Abu Dhabi.
The two were joined in their box by City chairman Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak and Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The City owner didn’t attend the previous final against Chelsea in Porto in 2021, but may have chose the right game to return.
