While Chelsea may not be doing so well in the Premier League right now, they still have a squad of extremely talented players.

The likes of Enzo Fernandez, Cole Palmer and Thiago Silva, for example, are all fantastic footballers.

Fernandez and Palmer combined for Chelsea‘s match-winner against Manchester United earlier in the week, with the former taking a quick corner that the latter got on the end of before firing a deflected shot past Andre Onana.

It was Palmer’s 16th goal in the Premier League this season and one he will surely never forget.

Following Chelsea’s 4-3 victory over United, Marc Cucurella has lauded one of his teammates. It has been claimed that the Blues have actually offered the left-back to Real Madrid as they look to offload some of their players.

Marc Cucurella on ‘special’ Chelsea player

Players such as Silva and Raheem Sterling have way more experience and are more proven than Palmer.

This is actually the 21-year-old’s first season as a first-team regular.

However, there is no doubt that Palmer is Chelsea’s best player right now and Cucurella has been speaking about him.

On the Englishman, he told LondonWorld: “He is a different player with a lot of qualities. A special player, when he feels confident he shows a lot of qualities and he is an important player for us.

“He needs to maintain this level and we need to maintain this in the remaining games to win something good.”

Former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy has tipped Palmer to go on and become a superstar.

Cole Palmer vs Kai Havertz

After selling Kai Havertz and Mason Mount to Arsenal and Manchester United respectively last summer, Chelsea needed to bring in an attacker like Palmer.

Havertz is doing quite well at the Gunners, scoring his ninth Premier League goal of the season against Brighton & Hove Albion yesterday.

With Palmer on 16 goals and eight assists, though, Chelsea look to have upgraded.

A few years younger than the German as well, it is scary to imagine the player the £45m man could develop into.
