Chelsea have looked to get some business done early in this summer transfer window.

Giving the appropriate backing to new manager Enzo Maresca is essential in order to give him the best possible platform to succeed in his first season as a Premier League manager.

The Blues acted quickly to secure the addition of Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer, with a number of top English clubs reportedly keen on bringing him in.

Going the other way, Ian Maatsen is set to make a move to Aston Villa, with a number of their supporters really excited about the prospect of him joining.

That deal is more complex though, with reports stating that Omari Kellyman from their academy was set to head the other way in a separate deal.

Chelsea to announce Omari Kellyman this week

Fabrizio Romano has now claimed that the signing of the youngster is set to be announced later this week.

He said on Twitter: “Omari Kellyman has successfully completed medical tests as new Chelsea player.

“Contract until June 2030 with option for further year being signed today, then it will be official this week. £19m fee to Aston Villa.”

The Blues have continued with their mantra that was introduced ever since Todd Boehly took over as owner of the club.

Chelsea sign Estevao Willian

Youngsters coming in with an eye for the future has been a regular theme, and Chelsea perhaps have announced their biggest addition yet in that category.

The club confirmed they had secured a deal to bring in Estevao Willian at the end of next season, with him set to continue starring for his current side in Brazil up until then.

It looks as if he is doing just that, finding the net on a regular basis right now. His latest celebration caught the eye too, with him seeming to copy current Blue Cole Palmer.
