Tottenham and West Ham will face off in Australia next week as the Premier League rivals compete on their pre-season tours.

Spurs begin their preparations for the new campaign by travelling to new manager Ange Postecoglou’s home country to face the Hammers.

Postecoglou’s side are then scheduled to travel to Thailand and Singapore to face Leicester City and Lion City Sailors.

As for David Moyes’ men, this will be their second and final game down under after coming up against A-League side Perth Glory.

Harry Kane is expected to be involved despite his future being in doubt while Declan Rice won’t feature with his £105million move to Arsenal imminent.

Tottenham vs West Ham: Team news

Rodrigo Bentancur and Fraser Forster are the only two players so far that Postecoglou has ruled out of the trip to his home country.

Harry Kane has returned to training for Spurs and is expected to be involved, as is new signing James Maddison who will make his debut.

Jarrod Bowen, Kurt Zouma, Danny Ings and Pablo Fornals are among the many West Ham regulars to be travelling Down Under.

Meanwhile, Gianluca Scamacca will also be there after recovering from a long-term injury that saw him miss a large chunk of last season.

Tottenham vs West Ham: What has been said?

Tottenham boss Postecoglou: “We do have a couple who are [injured], obviously Rodrigo Bentancur has got his injury and is still a little bit off.

“Fraser Forster has got a bit of a back injury, which means he won’t travel and won’t be able to participate.

“There are a couple of others who are touch and go at the moment. We will see how they go for the next few days.

“For me, I would really like as many of the group along as possible because it is the best way to figure out how we set up our environment and sort of the culture around the group if everyone is there.

“But if it is going to be beneficial for some guys to stay back, we’ll make that decision. I don’t think there will be too many in that boat at the moment.”
