Chelsea winger Noni Madueke has really performed in the second half of this season.

He has made some big contributions that have helped Chelsea climb into the European football spots.

For example, it was Noni Madueke who won the Blues their second penalty in their incredible 4-3 win against Manchester United last month.

However, while the former PSV Eindhoven man may be doing well at the moment, he is still just 22 years of age.

Ultimately, there is still a lot for Madueke to learn, and the wide man says he has been taking advice from one of his teammates at Chelsea and views him as a role model.

Noni Madueke learning from Chelsea teammate

There are not too many experienced players in Chelsea’s squad, with Raheem Sterling and Thiago Silva being the only men you can really name.

Silva is about to play his final game for Chelsea, but he should leave a bit of a legacy at Stamford Bridge.

He arrived in west London in his mid-30s and helped the club to win their second Champions League trophy. The central defender has also helped out a lot of young players at Chelsea.

Speaking about Silva in an interview with ESPN, Madueke said: “Thiago has been a great role model ever since I really came to the club. He is someone that will give you advice and it’s easy to listen to him just because of his body of work and everything that he has done in the game.

“He is a true professional and off the pitch he is a great guy as well, so he is going to be missed for sure. I wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”

Will Noni Madueke and Thiago Silva start against Bournemouth?

Silva surely will. It is his final match as a Chelsea player.

With the Blues still needing to qualify for the Europa League, Pochettino will not want to make any decisions based on sentiment.

However, Silva is still a quality player, so there really is no reason to deny him of a start. The Brazilian has actually averaged the most clearances in Chelsea’s squad this season, according to WhoScored.

As for Madueke, with Mykhailo Mudryk unavailable, Pochettino could reshuffle his attack a bit, which could result in the England U21 international dropping down to the bench. He is someone that his manager has really relied on lately, though, so it would also not be a surprise to see him get the nod.
