talkSPORT understands talks have continued in recent days over how the payments are structured.

Rice has been free to discuss personal terms and complete medical tests in the meantime.

Both sides expect the deal to get done and a hidden update on West Ham’s website suggests it will be announced imminently.

Rice’s No.41 shirt is no longer available for purchase ahead of the 2023/24 season.

West Ham have always accepted the 23-year-old would leave the club this summer.

Arsenal fought off competition from Manchester City by tabling a club-record bid on Wednesday.

It will make Rice the second-most expensive player in Premier League history, behind Chelsea’s £107m midfielder Enzo Fernandez.
