Max Aarons missed out against Israel due to illness, and with qualification secured, he might sit this one out as well.

Elsewhere, there could be further rotation, with Levi Colwill, James Garner, Curtis Jones and Anthony Gordon all potentially rested.

Jacob Ramsey scored in the opening game against the Czech Republic but was on the bench against Israel, so the Aston Villa star will hope to get another start.

England U21 vs Germany U21s: What has been said?

England boss Carsley speaking after qualification was sealed, said: “The result was really important for us, we spoke about it beforehand, making sure we performed and we spoke about mentality and having that ability to find a way to win.

“We knew it would be a tough game, Israel don’t score many goals but don’t concede many either.

“It was a good performance, but there is a lot more to come from this team.”
