The 2022/23 Premier League season finished just under a month ago, but the anticipation for the next campaign is already building.

Manchester City will be looking to win their fourth successive title having wrapped up a historic treble last weekend.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham all suffered poor seasons and will be looking for an instant bounce back after a summer of change.

Newcastle are set for an exciting 12 months ahead with the return of Champions League football while Brighton will be in Europe for the first time ever.

Elsewhere, Burnley and Sheffield United are both back in the top-flight while Luton are a brand new addition to the Premier League.

When will the fixtures be released?

The 2023/24 Premier League fixtures are set to be released at 9am on Thursday, June 15.

The initial fixtures will still be subject to change when both the radio and television companies have confirmed their broadcast picks.

Dates for all of the 380 matches will be released but progression in the Carabao and FA Cup will also lead to changes during the season.

When does the 2023/24 Premier League season start? 

The new top-flight season will begin on Saturday, August 12. 

This start is one week later than last season, with the schedule returning to normal following the 2022 World Cup break.

However, a winter break for players will still return between January 13 and 20 after a busy Christmas period.
