Ryan Seacrest and Andy Cohen are putting to rest any idea of a feud between the two multi-media hosts.

On Thursday, the Watch What Happens Live star called into Seacrest’s On Air radio show, in part, to clear the air after hearing Seacrest claimed he ignored him on New Year’s Eve, on a night when they both hosted their own respective TV specials.

‘I didn’t know where we stood, Ryan. I got to tell you something, I like watching people fight. I don’t like fighting with people,’ Cohen joked during their conversation, as reported by Us Weekly.

Seacrest wasted little time in putting Cohen at ease and letting him know that they are not at war with each other.

‘Well, we’re not. That’s the funny thing, that we are not,’ Seacrest shot back to Cohen, reassuring him there isn’t a rift between them.

‘It’s funny to think that some people think you and I have this thing going on and it just isn’t true,’ he added

The two went on to share about how they’ve actually been friends since meeting 15 years ago.

The rumblings of a feud gained traction when Seacrest claimed to his Live With Kelly And Ryan co-host Kelly Ripa that Cohen didn’t acknowledge him when he tried to catch his attention on New Year’s Eve.

It turns out the two television personalities have stages during their NYE telecasts that are close to each other

‘I thought maybe I was in the shot,’ Seacrest explained during the January 3 episode of talk show with Ripa. ‘I just wanted to wave and say hi. They have a great show. And Anderson, the best. He turns around and he says, “Have a good show.” Very nice. Andy did not turn around.’

During their radio interview, Cohen actually brought up Seacrest’s claim and blamed his good friend Anderson Cooper for the misunderstanding.

‘I called Anderson and yelled at him on the radio yesterday,’ Cohen confessed. ‘I was on my radio show yesterday and I said, “You know, Anderson, typically … when one of us sees Ryan behind us … one of us will nudge the other and say hey, there’s Seacrest. Look there’s Ryan” so the other one can make note and give a wave. And I said, “This year you did not do that! … Now look what you’ve done, Anderson.”‘

The two host then laughed together at Cohen’s excuse, which Seacrest then followed up be suggesting the three of them should ‘cheers next year after the shows.’

Rumblings of a possible feud between the two talk show hosts actually started back in December 2021 when the Bravo personality criticized Seacrest’s NYE special.

‘If you look behind me, you’ll see Ryan Seacrest’s group of losers performing,’ Cohen, who admittedly was drunk at the time, said during the live event, in a reference to the New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2022 lineup. ‘I’m sorry but if you’re watching ABC, you’re watching nothing.’

The Missouri native later admitted that he regretted the jab and apologized for the comment.

The so-called beef would be sparked again in November when Seacrest commented that ‘it’s probably a good thing,’ after CNN made the decision to not allow Cohen and Cooper drink during this year’s on-air special.

After clearing the air during their conversation on his radio show, Seacrest took to his Instagram page to reiterate that there is no bad blood between him and Cohen.

‘Thank you Andy Cohen for coming on the air this morning!’ Seacrest wrote. ‘Andy and I have been good friends for many years. We’re in it together in Times Square year after year and always like to have a bit of fun. Andy, next year let’s find each other after the show for a toast!’
