Bachelor couple Sam and Snezana Wood reveal the one obsession they hope to pass down to their four children

Sam and Snezana Wood want their four children to inherit the couple’s love for health and fitness.

Sam, who shares Willow, five, Charlie, three, and Harper, one, with Snezana as well as her daughter Eve, 17, from a previous relationship, revealed his parenting goals in an interview with Nine Honey this week.

‘[Fitness is] a big part of both of our lives,’ the gym owner said.

‘The best thing we do for our girls is they see us doing it,’ he added, before revealing the couple are very conscious about their children’s diet.

While health and fitness may be difficult concepts for their youngest daughters to grasp, Sam and Snezana are already taking steps to ensure their kids make positive lifestyle decisions.

‘I think at this age it’s about keeping them active, but also them growing up seeing us keep ourselves active.’

Sam and Snezana met on the third season of The Bachelor in 2015, and have been married for over five years.

Melbourne-based Sam credits his ‘hand-on’ approach to his success, after doing thousands of one-on-one personal training appointments over the years.

After a quick calculation, I’ve done over 58,000 1:1 personal training appointments over a sixteen-year career,’ he told DMARGE.

‘It was the hands-on experience of dealing with such a variety of clients that showed me what people want, and need, to help get themselves in shape and keep themselves in shape.’

Wood opened his premium gym facility The Woodshed in Brighton East in 2015, where he continues to run one-on-one and two-on-one personal training appointments.

He also owns one of Australia’s first kids-only gyms, Gecko Sports, which has 35 franchises around the country.
