Candice Warner spills on family life with David Warner and pouring her ‘heart and soul’ into her new book

Candice Warner lives a busy and active lifestyle with cricketer husband David and their three daughters Ivy Mae, Indy Rae and Isla Rose.

But the former Ironwoman, 38, confessed she loves most the moments she can relax at home with her family, reported The Daily Telegraph on Saturday.

The mum-of-three, whose memoir Running Strong hit bookshelves this week, said she doesn’t ‘ever want to leave’ once everyone gets home after a long day.

‘The minute we drive out of the garage in the morning we are basically go, go, go,’ she told the publication.

‘The girls are so active with their sports and David’s away a lot. So when we come home it’s like I don’t ever want to leave.’

Candice went on to say one of her favourite things to do with David and the girls, who are all under 10, is a tradition which came about during Covid lockdowns.

‘We love to sit down at home and make popcorn with the girls with this little popcorn machine,’ she said.

David and Candice then allow the girls to pick whichever movie they want to watch for the night, which she said ends up being a Disney movie.

It comes after Candice’s tell-all memoir Running Strong hit the shelves this week with all the shocking details of her private life.

Putting her ‘heart and soul’ into the book, Candice revealed ahead of the release she touched on everything which had landed her in headlines over the years.

She even wrote about her shocking toilet tryst at Clovelly Hotel with NRL star Bill Williams in 2007 and David’s ball tampering accusation in South Africa.

Candice described the biography as a ‘raw, emotional, heartfelt, warts and all book’ about a young girl who grew up in a working class suburb of Sydney that ‘had to fight’ for what she has.
