The Oscar-winner, 66, made his way outside of a building with the assistance of the crutches, as a man held the door open for him.

The Lincoln star kept it casual in a black T-shirt, blue sweats, and green cap over his silver locks. His many arm tattoos – which includes a mermaid and hand print – were on full display.

Day-Lewis has kept a very low profile since retiring from acting in 2017, but has been photographed on more recent occasions these last few months.

In May, he was pictured out in public for the first time in four years.
