The premise of the film follows Emma’s character and her on-screen boyfriend, played by Luke Bracey, who invite their parents as they contemplate the decision to tie the knot.
However, both their parents are already acquainted after having affairs with each other, ‘which leads to some differing opinions about marriage,’ according to an IMDB synopsis.
The star-studded cast also includes Pretty Woman actor Richard Gere, Oscar winner Susan Sarandon, and talented Diane Keaton and William H. Macy.
When appearing on The Kelly Clarkson Show earlier Tuesday, Emma opened up about working alongside Luke, whom she previously collaborated with on the 2020 movie, Holidate.
‘I love him, ‘ she informed Kelly on the recent episode, adding that, ‘We have the best time together.’ The actress added that he had been one of the ‘last people’ cast in the film, and explained she personally reached out to the actor and asked him to take on the role.

While working on her continuous success in the entertainment industry, Emma also puts her main focus on her son, Rhodes, who recently celebrated his second birthday last month in December.
The actress shares her son with ex, Garrett Hedlund. The two began dating earlier in 2019 but decided to go their separate ways in January 2022.
