Emmerdale fans have claimed they’ve ‘worked out’ the identity of Jai Sharma’s dad after he discovered he was adopted in a shocking twist.
Jai was devastated to learn that Rishi was not his biological father after finding an adoption certificate, and demanded answers.
Rishi insisted that Jai was conceived following a one-night stand between his mother and another man, who has never resurfaced.
But fans weren’t convinced, and quickly took to Twitter to claim Rishi was still hiding something, claiming that Jai’s real dad could be Rishi’s brother or another relative.

It came after viewers slammed Jai Sharma’s ‘over-the-top’ reaction to learning that he was adopted at birth, as he lashed out at Rishi during Tuesday’s episode.
Jai was stunned to discover that his entire life was a lie when he discovered an adoption certificate, and furiously confronted his father.
A tearful Rishi admitted he adopted Jai as a baby when he married his mother, after she discovered she was pregnant following a one-night stand with another man.
Rishi added that when he met Jai’s mother, they had no idea she was pregnant, and his real father had lied to her about his real identity.

As Tuesday’s episode came to an end, it was clear that Rishi wasn’t telling Jai the whole truth.
Screaming at his dad, Jai denounces their relationship, throwing his family into turmoil.
The next day, when Jai discovers Manpreet has known the secret since their marriage, and he furiously forces his father away.
With an engagement party planned Jai still can’t escape his turmoil and oblivious Archie heads out on a secret mission to find his absent grandfather. Will Rishi’s arrival help or make things worse?
