It was another night of tension in the Love Island villa as the fall out from the Casa Amor recoupling continued on Thursday.

Things kicked off with a bang as Catherine Agbaje and Scott Van Der Sluis came to blows over her decision to recouple with bombshell Elom Ahlijah-Wilson.

The drama carried on for Tyrique Hyde and Ella Thomas as they continued to bicker over her decision to recouple with new guy Ouzy See. 

The Scottish beauty appeared to be second guessing her decision and ended up opting to sleep outside rather than in bed with Ouzy.

But it appears Ella may have some competition to win back Tyrique as he admitted to being attracted to fellow single islander Kady McDermott.

With relationships and loyalties changing by the day, here is everything you missed on Love Island episode 30.

Fans slam Catherine for letting rip at Scott  

Love Island fans slammed Catherine Agbaje on Thursday night after she angrily let rip at Scott Van Der Sluis over his reaction to her recoupling with bombshell Elom Ahlijah-Wilson.

Scott was left devastated and single on Wednesday after Catherine returned from Casa Amor with Elom on her arm, while he opted to remain loyal.

Following his harsh firepit reaction to her betrayal, Catherine sat him down in the latest episode and automatically began to berate him over his response.

She tried to justify her choosing Elom as she noted he tried to get to know other people during their romance, while she also said that his previous firepit defence of their relationship was just about him and noted he was trying to make ‘everything about him’.

Furious viewers watching at home were quick to blast her for shouting at Scott, with many accusing her of ‘gaslighting’ him, with another stating she was ’embarrassing herself’.  

One person tweeted: ‘Catherine in this argument is the exact proof as to why she has been single forever.’

With another adding: ‘Catherine needs to just let it go she’s embarrassing herself’.

‘I don’t understand why not just say you’re sorry and that you met someone who you have a better connection with why gaslight the guy’ shared a third.

‘Please why is Catherine getting so amped?! Has she not just broken his heart!? Ah ah ‘ tweeted an angry fourth watcher.

‘Catherine trying to gaslight scott when she was the one who decided to recouple after casa’ remarked a fifth viewer.

With another person accusing her, writing: ‘What in the bloody gaslight is this Catherine.’

Confronting Scott, Catherine said: ‘First of all, I want to say I didn’t appreciate the way you tried to spin that.

‘You haven’t even heard me, you don’t know what I’ve based my decisions off. At the end of the day, I met Elom and Elom is great. It’s given me more time to figure this out.’

Scott was quick to tell Catherine where his head was at as he replied: ‘Catherine, there is no time… out of the girls that came in you were my number one.’

Catherine asked Scott: ‘Do you think for a second you weren’t my number one?’

He said: ‘Well, clearly not… four days ago I sat everyone round the fire pit.’

The two may have to agree to disagree since Scott was adamant the Islanders got the pair mixed up for doubting their feelings for one another. 

Talking about the group discussion around the fire pit, Scott admitted that it was for Catherine’s intentions only as ‘big things are how he shows his attention’.

But Catherine disagreed, telling him: ‘You didn’t do that for me Scott, it was for you.’

As the chat continued, Catherine pulled Whitney in as a ‘middle man’ to calm things down as it got heated between the pair.

Whitney headed over and gently whispered to Catherine: ‘Cat, compose your emotions, calm down.’ 

Viewers hit out at Sammy for ‘lying’ to Jess 

Love Island viewers hit out at Sammy Root for ‘lying’ to Jess Harding for saying he was ‘thinking about her’ during Casa Amor.

Sammy locked lips with bombshells Amber Wise and Gabby Jeffry during Casa Amor and decided to couple up with Amber, while Jess arrived back alone.

Going for a chat in the garden, Sammy explained his reasonings for coupling up with Amber and told Jess he was thinking about her after kissing Amber and Gabby.

‘I expected you to come back with someone,’ he told Jess before adding: ‘Amber is a really lovely girl’.

He appeared to convince Jess that his affections still lie with her as she said in the Beach Hut: ‘I feel sorry for Amber.

‘Obviously I know how Sammy feels. He’s going to be on to me a little bit more.’

But viewers took to Twitter in droves to express their displeasure with Sammy’s actions, with one writing: ‘Sammy, you brought a 19 year old back, you’re not thinking about Jess mate’.

Another said: ‘Can someone send Sammy home… I’m tired of him now,’ while a third wrote: ‘The lies tonight? Sammy?’

A fourth said: ‘Yeah Sammy, you missed Jess so much that you tripped, fell and brougth Amber back, I get it’.

A fifth wrote: ‘Sammy that didn’t like Jess and told the boys she ain’t his type, is now saying he missed her?’  

On Wednesday’s episode, Love Island viewers were quick to spot Amber’s fuming expression when Sammy spoke to Jess.

The 19-year-old daughter of football legend Dennis Wise was initially delighted when Sammy chose to recouple with her following their short time together in Casa Amor.

However, her joy soon turned to frustration as Sammy appeared to tell Jess that the door isn’t closed for them as she wished the new couple well. 

As Jess graciously told how she’d accepted that Sammy had moved on, Sammy jumped in and told her ‘don’t speak too soon’, adding that he’ll speak with her later.

His words prompted a shocked reaction from an angry Amber who rolled her eyes, with fans predicting it was the moment she realised that she’d ‘lost him’.

Fans tell Ella to ‘grow a backbone’ 

Love Island viewers were begging Ella to ‘grow a backbone’ after Tyrique assured her there was ‘no coming back’ for them and that they were ‘done’.

The pair had been going strong since coupling up on day one, but after Ella decided to return from Casa Amor with new boy Ouzy she ultimately left Tyrique single, ‘ending’ their relationship.

And unravelling her choice to Tyrique, she told him that she still hoped for a chance to rekindle things.

She said: ‘I wasn’t disloyal to you though. I knew him before and I just thought I needed to explore it further. It doesn’t have to mean you and me are done though’. 

But furious by the whole situation Ty responded: ‘What do you not understand? 

‘You taught me so much about myself. But it’s all done for nothing. 

‘Have him. It’s done. I hope its worth it. I do genuinely wish you all the best.’

Finding themselves in the bathroom together later that evening, Ty said once again: ‘I do like you so much it kills me. But this whole thing has hurt me.’

But taking to Twitter as the episode aired, viewers were left furious with Ella, telling her to ‘grow a backbone’ and stick by her decision.

One fan said: ‘These girls don’t know how to defend themselves’.

Another added: ‘Ella get a backbone. Stand by your decision and stop making yourself feel guilty. You chose Ouzy for a reason’.

‘I’d respect Ella more if she had some backbone about her decision’, another said.

A fourth said: ‘Women will never learn. Every year we have women like Ella on the show with no actual backbone. Lord I’m tired. Stick to your decision’.

Other viewers were left devastated by the situation.

A fan wrote: ‘Ty and Ella are breaking my heart’.

Another said: ‘I don’t want Ella to be heartbroken, I’m sorry for her… but she did do Ty dirty. I hope they work it out one day’.

Fans lash out at Montel for lying about his kiss with Tink

Love Island fans let rip at Montel McKenzie on Thursday night as he lied to Leah Taylor’s face over his kiss with bombshell Tink Reading. 

Leah was left crushed during the recoupling when Casa Amor bombshell Tink revealed their antics together, telling everyone that their time together in bed ‘wasn’t exactly PG’.

In the latest episode, Leah sat down with Montel to grill him about what happened, with the semi-professional footballer attempting to convince her that the other boys influenced his actions.

He also insisted that ‘nothing sexual happened’ between himself and Tink despite them locking lips in Casa Amor.

Reacting to his words, fans were quick to berate Montel for having ‘no shame’ as he lied to Leah’s face, while many predict his betrayal will be exposed during the show’s infamous Movie Night.

Taking to Twitter, one person said: ‘Montel has just barefaced lied there lmao no shame.’

While another penned: ‘WOWWW montel just lied to leah’s face and said “you just had to be there” throw him UNDER the jail!!’

‘Lmaooo Montel movie night AINT going to look good for you’ predicted a third watcher.

‘Montel? Those that lied have not lied like this before’ tweeted a fourth.

‘Every one who moved mad has been exposed apart from Montel. I hope the producers don’t fail us on movie night’ said a fifth fan.

A sixth person quipped: ‘Montel your PowerPoint presentation will be shown in class on movie night don’t think u can escape.’

With another agreeing: ‘Montel is finished !!!!!!! All I am saying is movie night.’

As she confronted Montel over his Casa Amor actions, Leah told him: ‘In that moment, all you had to do was say I kissed her…not mentioning the boys. That’s all you had to do.’ 

She continued: ‘I would have been like, “cool, thanks for telling me” and moved on…no two people physically push your heads together…you can’t blame it on everyone else.’

Montel then attempted to assure Leah as he said: ‘It was a massive mistake from me. Over the last 24 hours I’ve learnt a lot…the happiest moment was me seeing you walk back by yourself.’

Montel and Tink had shared a bed together during their time in Casa Amor and the Birmingham beauty appeared shocked when Montel announced he had chosen to stay loyal to Leah during Wednesday’s recoupling. 

Fans aren’t convinced Tyrique really likes Kady 

Love Island viewers were left unconvinced Tyrique Hyde had any genuine feelings for Kady McDermott after revealing he was attracted to her on Thursday’s episode.

Both Tyrique and Kady were left single after the Casa Amor recoupling and went for cocktails with fellow singletons Jess Harding and Scott Van Der Sluis.

Tyrique wasted no time to trying to move on from Ella Thomas as he agreed to share a bed with Kady and then admitted he fancies her.

He said: ‘Other than Ella, the person I’m most attracted to is Kady. You came in and coupled up with Zach but now I’m single, it’s a while differnet ball game.’

Kady appeared to confirm the feeling is mutual, saying: ‘I’m not gonna lie, you’re my type to a tea.’

Surprised, Tyrique replied: ‘Really? I didn’t get that vibe.’

Worried, Kady asked: ‘Am I gonna be a rebound?’

Tyrique replied: ‘No, it’s not like that. She did what she did, she made her bed so now I’m single.’

After returning to the villa, Kady once again told Tyrique she didn’t want to get into a ‘triangle’ with him and Ella.

Tyrique said: ‘I do have feelings but I decided to stay loyal and she didn’t,’ to which Kady replied: ‘If she did stay loyal, we wouldn’t be having this chat now.’

But viewers weren’t convinced there’s any genuine chemistry between the pair, with one writing: ‘I’m not even sweating about Ty and Kady. He needs a rebound, we have all done this.’

Another wrote: ‘If I was Kady I’d give them boys bombastic sude eye cause why am I your last option?’

A third added: ‘I hope Ty doesn’t mess around with Kady’s feelings, she seems emotional. But he probably will because he will be going back to Ella soon probs.’

A fourth said: ‘Tyrique and Kady just do not make any sense,’ while a fifth wrote: ‘Kady actually wants Scott and not Ty please’ 

Ella and Tyrique’s relationship is branded ‘toxic’

Love Island viewers have branded Ella and Tyrique’s relationship as ‘toxic’ after he issued her with an ultimatum, compelling her to sleep outside.

The pair, who coupled up on day one, have been in rocky waters since Ella’s return to the villa with Casa Amor new boy Ouzy.

After seeing Tyrique standing alone, single, Ella has found herself questioning her decision – particularly since the footballer told her they ‘were done’.

Refusing to let that be the case, Ella has repeatedly prodded Tyrique on how they could get back to steady ground.

Eventually Tyrique, who recently admitted he now has his sights set on Kady, told Ella she has to end her relationship with Ouzy by tomorrow.

He told her: ‘You want me back? Dead it then. End it with him first thing tomorrow morning.

‘You can’t be saying you care about me when you’re still with him. Dead it. And then we’ll see.’

After giving his clear instructions on what to do, Ella then decided to sleep outside on the day beds and not share a bed with the other half of her couple Ouzy.

Things even went from bad to worse as she tried to give him a kiss before going outside, but got rejected. 

Fans have now branded the vicious circle as extremely ‘toxic’, claiming Ty knows exactly what he’s doing and still won’t make it easy to get back.

This is perhaps even more prevalent by the Love Island first look at the end of the first episode, which saw Ella come over to Ty fuming, as he flirted with Kady and stroked her hair.

And taking to Twitter as the episode aired, fans were left with plenty to say.

One wrote: ‘Ty has her wrapped around his finger’.

‘Nah that rejection even pained me!!! Ella wrap it up’, another said.

A third wrote: ‘They deserve each other – toxic’.

A fourth said: ‘Tyrique will hold this against Ella for as long as possible’

A fifth added: ‘Gotta give it to him. Tyrique is bloody good telly. The ultimatum was diabolical’.
