Irwin’s at war? Inside Terri and daughter Bindi’s ‘disagreement’ over Grace Warrior’s second birthday party
They are one of the happiest showbiz families around.
But according to new reports, Terri Irwin and her daughter Bindi had a disagreement over birthday party plans for the youngest Irwin family member, Grace Warrior.
Bindi, 24, and her husband Chandler Powell, 26, celebrated Grace’s second birthday on March 25, and decided to throw an intimate party in the US with Chandler’s American family.
But according to New Idea, Bindi’s mother Terri desperately wanted to hold a big birthday bash for her granddaughter at Australia Zoo.
‘Terri was keen to host a big birthday bash at Australia Zoo with Grace, who is simply divine, as the centre of attention,’ a source told the magazine.

‘Event days celebrating family birthdays always do well at the ticket booth, and Grace is their cutest attraction yet.’
Despite the disagreement, the publication claims Terri, 58, and her son Robert, 19, did join Bindi and Chandler overseas for celebrations for Grace and the family all had a ‘wonderful time’.
However, if Terri were in charge, she would have thrown an extravagant event at the Crocoseum – with plenty of cake and a possible performance by The Wiggles.
Instead they had a small scale event at Australia Zoo, where visitors were able to enjoy free cupcakes and a live Bluey and Bingo performance.

Some other perks included free entry for children aged 14 and under, a safari obstacle course, party hat creation, pot planting and clay workshops.
But this small celebration was not on the grand scale Terri wanted, as the source explained a huge birthday bash ‘would be great for the zoo’s bottom line’.
Mum-of-one Bindi shared a heartwarming tribute to her darling daughter to commemorate the milestone birthday on March 25.
She gushed over her bub alongside a reel of family photos which showed her cuddling up to Grace in the snow alongside Chandler.

‘Our TWO year old girl! Happy Birthday to my whole world. Grace Warrior, you are the sunshine that fills our lives,’ she wrote.
‘Every day I am amazed by your hundreds of words and smiles, fascination for the natural world/every animal you discover and your adventurous soul.’
She continued: ‘You see wonder in everything and remind me that the world is made of magic. Being your mama is the best part of my life.’
Bindi finished up her gushing tribute by saying she loves Grace ‘with my entire heart’ and ‘for all of my existence’.
