EXCLUSIVE: Jackie ‘O’ Henderson’s bold career move as she splits from manager who helped make her the richest woman in radio and relaunched her TV career – as she splashes out on a $13million Sydney home

KIIS FM presenter Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has parted ways with her manager Brad March – the radio ‘super agent’ who helped her to become the highest-paid woman in Australian media.

March, the CEO of talent agency Marchmedia, oversaw his star client’s TV comeback on Channel 10’s ratings hit The Masked Singer after a string of flops in the 2000s, and also masterminded her record-breaking long-term deal with ARN.

Their split after six years – a period spanning arguably the most successful and lucrative chapter in Henderson’s three-decade-long career – is said to be ‘amicable’ and the pair remain friends.

Their professional break-up became public today when Henderson’s co-host Kyle Sandilands mentioned March while listing off the people who had reached out to him following The Kyle and Jackie O Show’s historic ratings victory yesterday.

Sandilands called March ‘Jackie’s old manager Brad’. After Daily Mail Australia made enquiries with various industry sources, it was confirmed the two were indeed no longer working together. March was unavailable for comment on Friday.

Henderson is now believed to be working with her long-time assistant Brittany. Her former managers also include Mark Morrissey and erstwhile Nine CEO Hugh Marks.

Her career move comes as a surprise given the sheer level of success she achieved during her partnership with March, who used to be her boss at Southern Cross Austereo in the 2000s.

March was the chief negotiator in 2019 when Henderson re-signed her last long-term deal with KIIS FM’s parent company ARN – which still has years to go and is earning her an estimated $8million per year.

The contract agreement, reported to be the single biggest deal in Australian media history, made Henderson the country’s highest-paid female media personality ever and also put her on pay parity with Sandilands for the first time.

March also played a key role in securing Henderson her ambassador role with WW, formerly known as Weight Watchers, in a deal reportedly worth $1million.

Their partnership coincided with Henderson reviving her career as a television personality when she joined the panel of The Masked Singer in 2019.

The celebrity guessing game became a surprise ratings hit, and she ended up staying on the show for three seasons.

Her earlier attempts at a TV career had all been unsuccessful with the exception of her first hosting gig on Popstars in the year 2000.

Henderson’s booming bank balance during her tenue at Marchmedia no doubt helped when she bought a $13million oceanfront mansion in Clovelly last weekend.

He has repped radio presenters Ben Harvey and Liam Stapleton since their days at community station Fresh FM, securing them a national breakfast role at Triple J and then breakfast at Nova 919 in Adelaide, and was behind their big move to Melbourne.

His other clients include Toni Lodge and Ryan Jon, the hosts of one of Australia’s most popular podcasts, Toni and Ryan, which recently became a Spotify exclusive.

March also reps Abby Coleman from Hit 105 breakfast show Stav, Abby and Matt.
