My tiny Ted Lasso! Jason Sudeikis reveals his son Otis ‘loves soccer’ after his time in England and shares insight into his family life in LA after ex Olivia Wilde blocked his plans to raise kids in New York
Jason Sudeikis revealed that his eight-year-old son Otis loves soccer after spending time in England while promoting Ted Lasso on Thursday on an NBC talk show.
The 47-year-old actor during an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers was asked about his son Otis and daughter Daisy, six, with former fiancée Olivia Wilde, 39.
‘Do they care about things like soccer? Have they fallen in love with it?,’ asked Seth, 49.
‘Oddly enough, Otis has fallen more in love with it since being back here. We got back in like November and we’re out in LA right now. But him and Daisy were out there for almost all of 2022,’ Jason said.
‘And they started to get little tiny accents, but not enough, they got as far as like Dick Van Dyke and Mary Poppins,’ he added.

Jason and Olivia started dating in 2011 and ended their relationship in November 2020.
They waged an ugly custody battle over their children that overlapped with Olivia’s relationship with Harry Styles, 29, whom she directed in last year’s film Don’t Worry Darling.
Jason filed suit against his ex in New York City Family Court in October 2021, and the dispute largely revolved around where the children would live.
While he wanted them to live in Brooklyn, Olivia was hoping to have them stay in Los Angeles and possibly relocate to London, where her then-boyfriend Harry was living before they split last November.
In a legal filing signed last August, a judge ruled ‘New York was not the home state of the subject children’ and that rather ‘California was the children’s home state.’
The couple recently have been more amicable and are on good terms as they co-parent their children.
Jason during his talk show visit also revealed that Otis and Daisy love making music together.
He said after working on his TV show that he would come up the stairs and ‘usually hear a keyboard.’

Jason said he bought two karaoke setup and the kids figured them out.
He credited watching the Billie Eilish documentary with inspiring his children since the singer collaborates with her brother Finneas O’Connell.
Season three of Ted Lasso premiered on Wednesday on the Apple TV+ streaming service.
Jason portrays the title character in the sports comedy-drama that has received widespread critical acclaim.
The show’s first season received a whopping 20 nominations at the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awars and won seven awards including acting awards for Jason and co-stars Brett Goldstein and Hanna Waddingham as well as Outstanding Comedy Series.
The second season also scored 20 nominations and won four awards, including acting awards for Jason and Brett and Outstanding Comedy Series again.
