Jennifer Garner says she ‘works really hard’ to avoid seeing stories about her ex-husband Ben Affleck in the press: ‘It doesn’t make me feel good’
Jennifer Garner has revealed that she tries her best not to read any media coverage about herself or her ex-husband, Ben Affleck.
The pair, who were married from 2005 until 2018, have stayed friends as they co-parent their three children, but the actress, 50, prefers not to see their lives played out online.
‘I really work hard not to see either of us in the press’ the 13 Going on 30 star tells this week’s issue of Stellar Magazine.
‘It doesn’t make me feel good, even if it’s something nice about one of us.
‘I just try to forget that I’m out there in any way, and the same with anyone I love. I don’t need to see anyone in my family made into a meme’ the actress added.

Asked if she has seen any of the memes of her ex doing the rounds online, Jennifer said she has not, but joked, ‘Although I’m sure he’s quite meme-worthy, yes!’
Jennifer shares her kids Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14 and Sam, 11, with her actor ex-husband Ben, 50.
The private star has been in a relationship with her businessman boyfriend John Miller since 2018.

They met on the set of the box office flop Gigli in 2001 and became engaged the following year.
After postponing their planned 2003 nuptials due to ‘excessive media attention,’ the couple stayed together for a few more months before confirming their split in a statement released in early 2004.
The then-former couple both entered long-term relationships with other stars, the Waiting for Tonight singer marrying her now ex-husband Marc Anthony and then getting engaged to former MLB player Alex Rodriguez.
Jennifer and Ben, more fondly known as ‘Bennifer,’ reignited their romance in May 2021 and tied the knot officially that following summer.
