Jenny McCarthy surprises husband Donnie Wahlberg with ‘bedroom makeover’ at their home in Illinois

Jenny McCarthy surprised her longtime husband Donnie Wahlberg with a stunning ‘bedroom makeover’ in their Tudor-style mansion in St. Charles, Illinois.

After dramatically remodeling their space by swapping out their light grey walls for  an unexpected shade of black, the 50-year-old TV host shared an incredible before-and-after video of their home.

‘Surprised the Mr. with a bedroom makeover,’ she captioned a video, uploaded to her Instagram last week, which documented the transformation.

The actress, who has served as a judge on Fox’s musical competition show The Masked Singer since 2019, paired the footage with Armani White’s 2022 hit track Billie Eilish.

Her comment section was flooded with sweet messages from her more than 1.5 million followers, many of whom praised her bold and unique design choices.

Many of her fans gushed she should have her own HGTV show and should release her 53-year-old spouse’s reaction to the bedroom. 

In addition to painting the walls with the color Caviar by Sherwin, McCarthy spruced up the space with two cozy white chairs with zebra accent pillows and a gorgeous desk.

Additionally, the star’s walls featured a gallery wall with framed pictures of black crows, a typewriter and a portrait of a woman.

McCarthy and Wahlberg raised her son Evan Joseph Asher, 20, who she shares ex-husband John Asher, in this home.

The Illinois native’s property includes a pool with a waterfall and slide, its own golf course and plenty of space for entertaining. 

Wahlberg previously referred to their home as a ‘little piece of heaven.’

‘We have a little trail we created just to take walks. It has a little Buddha and a fountain and I know that means a lot to Jenny,’ he told the outlet. 

The actor continued: ‘I know if she’s stressed or has worries about Evan or whatever’s going on, that little space is where she can go.’ 

He and Wahlberg tied the knot in 2014 at the historic Hotel Baker in St. Charles, Illinois.
