Kyle Sandilands is known for his outspoken opinions on just about any topic.
And on Friday, the KIIS FM star revealed he has no problem if his son, 10 months, ends up growing up to be gay – after discovering his love for dolls during a recent shopping trip.
The radio host, 51, and his wife Tegan Kynaston, 36, welcomed their baby boy Otto last August.
Kyle shared, ‘You know, like I did say yesterday, I wouldn’t mind if my son Otto turned out to be gay, so I wouldn’t have to attend sports events. A bit of a selfish thought…’
‘I don’t care if he’s gay or straight. I could care less long as he is healthy, I don’t care.’

Kyle then recounted a recent shopping excursion with Otto and Tegan, saying, ‘He’s starting to kick things now, like everything he sees. We were at the toy store, and I could have bought the whole shop … so we gathered quite a few things.’
Holding Otto in his arms and paying for the purchases, Kyle noticed his son’s attention was elsewhere.
‘He was looking over my shoulder at the girls’ section… This kid usually shows no expression. He then starts trying to lean towards that direction, wiggling over my shoulder, something had clearly caught his eye.’
Kyle shared, ‘You know, like I did say yesterday, I wouldn’t mind if my son Otto turned out to be gay, so I wouldn’t have to attend sports events. A bit of a selfish thought…’
Kyle then took him over to the girls’ section.
‘He was finally awake. It was like he was electrified, bouncing like a freshly caught salmon.’
‘A big gay looking unicorn and all the girls’ dolls are on the wall. He was like, he was wiggling, trying to wiggle outta my arms desperate to get to the unicorn.’

Observing his son’s excitement, Kyle’s initial reaction was, ”Gay’ is what I thought. This kid’s gay. Fantastic.’
Relaying his thoughts to Tegan, he said, ‘Uh oh.’ To which she responded, ”He should be able to get whatever he wants’.’
‘Well, if that’s what he wants to do, who am I to stand in the road? But he’s a Sandilands and, Sandilands’ are notoriously known for pu**y boys.’

Kyle and Tegan announced they were expecting their first child in February.
The couple tied the knot with his wife Tegan in a $1million ceremony at the heritage-listed Swifts mansion in Sydney’s Darling Point.
In June it was reported that Kyle had purchased a $13.8 million mansion in Sydney’s elite Bellevue Hill to make room for their growing family.
The four-storey sprawling property boasts five bedrooms, six bathrooms, an internal life and a wine cellar.
Before dating Tegan, Kyle was with ex-girlfriend Imogen Anthony for eight years until they called it quits in 2019.
