Smith garnered controversy when she said she was not in favor of putting the dog down following the incident. She said that the canine hadn’t exhibited aggressive behavior ahead of the incident Sunday.
The Nashville-based influencer said she hoped that she could find a new home for the dog for owners who don’t have kids and have ample land for Legend to roam.
Smith acknowledged that she would not be able to keep Legend living in the home out of concern Indigo could be traumatized by the dog’s presence in the aftermath of the attack.
